Dear coffee family! Meet Teporingo!
For those who don't know, teporingos, also known as volcano rabbits, are rare and elusive creatures that live at very high altitudes. Unfortunately, very few remain in the wild.
We feel this name suits our new coffee very well, as it conveys the rarity of the quality that our friends, producers Gabriel Orduña and Mary Palmeros, have achieved with this bean.
This gesha, grown at the heights of the El Rincón estate, will delight you with its well-balanced sweetness and acidity. The fruity and winey notes are the result of the coffee's prolonged fermentation. The fruity intensity of the natural process is combined in this case with the subtlety and elegance of the gesha variety.
It's a lovely coffee, very sweet and easy to enjoy in any circumstance. As you sip it, imagine a fluffy bunny grazing in volcanic meadows, and we're sure it will brighten your day! ;)
